AIR TORQUE PT050UDA Pneumatic Actuator

The AIR TORQUE PT050UDA pneumatic actuator is powered by compressed air. It converts the linear motion of the piston rack into the rotational movement of the output shaft through gear transmission, providing angular travel output. Available in double-acting and single-acting types, it is widely used for the switching and regulation of ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, and other angular travel valves. It is also suitable for other rotary applications, making it an ideal device for industrial pipeline automation control.

The AIR TORQUE PT050UDA pneumatic actuator is equipped with a bidirectional gear shaft travel limiting device. The travel limiting device located on the side of the housing allows for ±5° adjustment of the actuator's travel between 85° and 95°. These two travel limiters are designed to withstand the actuator's rated torque and absorb impact loads from the recommended travel speed. By loosening the lock nut, the limit screws can be rotated counterclockwise and clockwise. Adjusting the left and right limit screws respectively reduces or increases the travel angle. Finally, tighten the lock nut.

Design Specifications:

Dual-piston symmetrical rack and pinion structure design ensures fast, smooth, and precise operation with high output power. Reverse rotation can be achieved by simply changing the piston assembly position.

The extruded high-quality aluminum alloy cylinder body features precisely machined internal and external surfaces with hard anodizing (anodizing + Teflon coating under special conditions), offering extended service life and low friction coefficient.

Integrated design: All double-acting and single-acting actuator models share the same cylinder body and end covers, allowing easy conversion between action types by adding or removing springs.

Combined pre-loaded safety spring sets enable easy and safe installation or adjustment of the number of springs, both during assembly and on-site.

Two separate external adjustment screws provide convenient adjustment of valve open and closed positions, especially for actuators already installed on valves. For full travel adjustment, longer adjustment screws are provided on both end covers.

Multi-functional position indicator offers visual on-site indication, compliant with VDI/VIE 3845 and NAMUR standard slots. It supports the installation and output of all accessories, such as limit switch boxes, electro-pneumatic positioners, and position sensors (e.g., Pepperl+Fuchs, Turck).

The air source interface complies with NAMUR standards, allowing direct installation of NAMUR standard solenoid valves.

Composite bushings on the back of the rack, piston guide rings, and output shaft bearings prevent metal-to-metal friction, enhance lubrication, and ensure low friction and long service life.

All fasteners are made of stainless steel for long-term corrosion resistance.

Connection parts comply with the latest ISO 5211 and DIN 3337 (F03-F25) standards, ensuring interchangeability and universality in product installation.
